Common questions
What does the First 7 Days Pack include?
A one-time bundle of every Qiao Plus feature for your most chaotic week — typically the seven days around arrival: unlimited AI, advanced visa and banking guides, smart deadline reminders and your offline city pack. It does not renew. After seven days you drop back to the free tier unless you choose to subscribe.
Do I need a subscription at all?
No. The free tier is generous on purpose — checklist, reminders, phrasebook, guide and basic AI. Services, including the pack, are bought on their own. Qiao Plus is there for people who want unlimited AI and the deeper guides across a longer stay.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel from inside the app at any moment. You keep Plus until the end of the period you have already paid for.
How does the annual plan save 40%?
Monthly is $3.99 × 12 = $47.88 / year. The annual plan is $29 / year — a $18.88 (≈ 40%) saving for committing up-front.
When is Qiao Admission available?
It is not in the first release. Qiao Admission arrives in month 6 — after the beta in autumn and the full version in winter. Pre-register and we will tell you when it opens, along with pricing.
Do you give student discounts?
Qiao is already priced for students. We do not run additional discounts, but the free tier covers most arrival basics.
