What does the First 7 Days Pack include?
A one-time bundle of every Qiao Pass benefit for your most chaotic week — typically the seven days around arrival: unlimited AI, auto-filled documents with the Chinese alongside, smart deadline reminders and your offline city pack. It does not renew. After seven days you drop back to the free tier unless you choose to take the Pass.
Do I need a subscription at all?
No. The free tier is generous on purpose — checklist, reminders, phrasebook, guide and 5 AI questions a day. Services, including the pack, are bought on their own. Qiao Pass is for people who want the deadline guarantee, a human to ask and done-for-you documents across the whole settling-in period.
How does the deadline guarantee actually work?
If your Pass is active, a reminder we track was due, we failed to deliver it, and you were fined for that deadline, we reimburse the fine up to $50 per Pass period. You claim within 30 days with the official notice. It requires your arrival date and city to be correct and notifications enabled — the full conditions are in the terms.
Can I cancel anytime?
The six-month Pass is a one-time purchase — there is nothing to cancel and nothing renews. If you take the annual option, you can cancel from inside the app at any moment and keep it until the end of the period you paid for.
When is Qiao Admission available?
It is not in the first release. Qiao Admission arrives in month 6 — after the beta in autumn and the full version in winter. Pre-register and we will tell you when it opens, along with pricing.
Do you give student discounts?
Qiao is already priced for students. We do not run additional discounts, but the free tier covers most arrival basics.
